Elektrociepłownia Będzin S.A. pays strong attention on creating good relations with its market environment. By supporting important ideas, the Company wants to serve its consumers and to help to develop the region it functions in. For many years, in the planned way, the Company has been contributing to science, health service, social welfare, and protection of environment. It is the sponsor of museums, culture institutions and events significant for the region` s improvement. It promotes the cleverest young people in the region, funding scholarships. In the special way the Company contributes to the children and youth particularly experienced by their fate – for years it helps the Children` s House in Sarnów and Foundations supporting the unhealthy children.

The company received a statue of the ‘Dzieciom Będzina’ Association, awarded to the promoters and friends of the Association, and it also received a ‘Sponsor of the Year’ title from the Sosnowiec Museum for supporting and aiding the museum’s activities.
