Elektrociepłownia Będzin S.A. does not limit itself only to electricity and heat generation, but effectively aims to improve heat infrastructure in the region, by co-financing of pro-ecological connection investments. This is the result of the co-operation with the main heat distributor in the region - Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej Dąbrowa Górnicza S.A. (District Heating Company Dąbrowa Górnicza Plc).
