Pursuant to the amended Power Law Act, since 1st July 2007 Elektrociepłownia “Będzin” S.A. has been fulfilling the criteria of electricity production in a high efficiency cogeneration facility with primary energy saving – “PES” – higher than that required by the regulations, compared to the generation of electric energy and heat in separate systems with reference efficiency values for separate generation.
