PrintTaking into consideration the atmosphere protection, each energetic boiler has electrofilters of high efficiency. This efficiency is systematically checked, by making measurements of dust emission of each facility.
Besides, each of the boilers has installations reducing emissions of nitrogen oxides to the atmosphere.
The united emitor which has flue gases brought from all boilers, is equipped with the system of permanent flue gases monitoring. The facility allows controlling of the amount and quality of emitted gases twenty-four hours a day.
In the year 2004 the sound absorbing screen was built, reducing the level of noise emitted by the boiler house` s facilities and machinery to the school beside.
In 2008 the plant started an investment aiming to provide a possibility of biomass co-burning. This will allow electric energy and heat to be produced while observing the CO2 emission allowances awarded for the years 2008-2012.
