Environment protection
PrintHeat and electricity generation in Elektrociepłownia Będzin S.A. is based on energetic coal burning, which is connected with threats for environment. Therefore we, employees, and the area of Zagłębie` s dwellers at the same time, care for being possibly the least harmful for natural environment. To achieve that, right coal parameters are chosen, facilities reducing pollution are kept in good condition, waste and water sewage is properly settled. According to our assumptions, we apply the rule of “balanced development”, basing on joining the Company` s improvement with natural environment protection and social interest. Elektrociepłownia Będzin S.A. is in compliance with law requirements connected with environment protection. The Company has not paid so far and still does not pay any penalties for transgressing or ignoring conditions of economical use of environment.
